What Pirelli tire did you run on the rear of the bike. Specifically type and size. It doesn’t look like an off the shelf Pirelli Scorpion tyre.

Aside from the logistical challenges leading up to the race: what was the biggest obstacle to overcome? What went unexpectedly smoothly? What was something you didn't see coming?

If i didn't see malcolm and mert andall the guys from on any Sunday i dont think id ever have ridden. I was four years old. My friends all wanted to watch Disney..... Id keep watching on any Sunday.....still do. Ill pull it out twice a year at least. Thanks for Lighting my fire.

I was invited to Seattle international motorcycle show after my Yamaha Venture Royal took 3rd out of 168 bikes in NW Washington motorcycle show. I never seen my wife jumping up and down, yelling, excited like shes visiting rock star. I look to see Malcom Smith 3ft in front of her, with his huge smile, watching her make a fool of herself.

I wish that they wouldn't stop every so often and just keep going

Malcolm Smith was one of my heroes back in the 70s. I had 2 Huskys later on. I had linesman boots, too. High-school riders used to poke fun of me for my boots, but I gave them a lesson when we got on the dirt...

I was 10 years old when On Any Sunday came out right around the same time as Gone in 60 Seconds and vanishing point those were the best movies when I was a kid that there was thank you very much Malcolm Smith for everything God bless your heart and that big smile you used to always wear

I saw Malcolm win the Forest 300 in Cessnock in Australia in the early seventies. Won it in style in the last 100 yards of a two day race.

Malcolm was always such a gentleman, in his shop and in the whatever race he was in, I didn’t know him well but knew him through his shop where I bought 4 bikes from him over the years.

In a field of Greats, Malcom is the GOAT. Mic drop....

The Greeves Challenger was a 250 or 360. The Grffon was 380cc .the bike shown is a later Qub 380. Bert Greeves made invalids cars which used Villiers engines

In the early 70's, influenced by "On Any Sunday" with Mr. Smith and Steve McQueen, I purchased a Husqvarna 250 WR. Had a lot of fun with that bike. Those were the good old days.

Great stories from one of my heroes. I was racing 28:01 the year smith came out with on any Sunday. I even had 29 seconds in the movie. Thank you for all you did for motorcycles and racing

Growing up we had a Second place trophy on Display from 71 for Hair scramble. It was my moms. She was the only woman in the race. My mom was cooler than anyone else I knew's mom, By ALOT ❤

441 westcoast mods gained a lot from Malcolm Smith. I had a sticker of his on my 441 2o years the blue yellow white products one. They are heavy in wrenching but a 441 is a durable bike I've done over 150 000 miles on mine with crank pins and gearbox replacements. B50 clutch drilled is great uprade or Pez or EV parts.

I think Malcom is about his Dads age when he Fathered him.

Since Malcolm grew up in San Bernardino I bet he got chow on the go more than once at the original McDonald's with their brand new Speedee Service back in 1953. He is my drag racer uncle Al Charlier's age and I love both of them.
